Karne Engineering evaluates and analyzes police reports, skid marks, sight lines, mechanical failures, use and operation of safety devices, roadway accident histories, human factors, weather and roadway conditions, and collision data recorders. Calculations are made to develop collision speeds, impact levels, time and distance factors, and collision avoidance feasibility. Vehicle and scene inspections and witness interviews are augmented by photographic, videographic, and written documentation as appropriate prior to providing expert opinions.
